Locks of Love hair drive, 4/20

The 10th annual Hair Drive for Locks of Love will take place on Wednesday, April 20 at 6pm in the MAC in McShea.

There will be local professional stylists at the drive to do all the hair cutting for free.

To donate hair, it must be:

  • At least 10 inches (though we will accept 8 or 9 inches too!)
  • Clean and dry at the time of the drive
  • Free from major chemical damage (dyed and permed is OK)

Pre-register for the drive by emailing Maggie: Magdalene.riggins@desales.edu

We also need people to volunteer to help the drive run smoothly. Let Maggie know if you are interested in helping out.

Day undergrads: important info about Fall registration

In order to register for your fall courses, you MUST consult with your advisor between Monday, April 4, and Friday, April 8. You will NOT be able to register unless you have met with and been cleared by your advisor in advance.

As preparation for this meeting, you should review your progress toward meeting course requirements and create a list of possible courses for the upcoming semester. To do this, use the Academic Evaluation feature in WebAdvisor and/or the graduation requirement form for your major, available at www.desales.edu/gradforms.

You should also check your WebAdvisor account to learn when you may begin registering for your classes. After logging in, click on “Registration Status and Time.” For most students, this screen will indicate that they may register at some time between April 11th and April 14th. However, PLEASE NOTE that some students may see a “hold,” which restricts them from registering. If you are one of these students, you MUST clear up the related matter before you may register.

If you have any questions, please contact your academic advisor.
