Get ready to smile :) Schedule your senior/staff portraits now!

Herff-Jones Photography will be on campus November 28 – November 30 to take senior portraits and professional staff portraits for the yearbook.

Seniors – schedule your sitting by logging in at and use the school code 355. The photos will be taken in the Kender Conference room in McShea. There is a $5.00 sitting fee for seniors. Students are asked to dress professionally for their portraits.

Staff – If you’re a new professional staff member, stop in on these dates to have your portrait taken. Existing staff, you can also update your picture at this time. Professional staff portrait sittings require no appointment and have no sitting fee. [Read more…]

May/June service trip to India: information session, 10/4 & 10/5

Interested in going to India?  DeSales is hosting a service trip from May 20-June, 3, 2012.  We will be hosting two information sessions this week for students wanting more information.  The info sessions are on October 4 and 5 at 5pm in the McShea Kender Room.

Applications for the trip will be available starting October 4.

Interested in Irish Step Dancing? Meeting tonight, 10/3

Come to our first lesson today, Monday, October 3 from 7:30 to 9:00 in the MAC. Wear comfortable clothing as well as socks and sneakers. If you have Irish dance shoes, please bring them. Beginning and advanced dancers are welcome. Invite your friends!

Friends of Rachel Club meeting, 10/6

There will be a mandatory meeting of the Friends of Rachel Club Thursday, October 6 at 4pm in the Danko conference room in McShea.

This meeting is open to all students. We will be discussing upcoming elections for the club. The positions open are Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer. If you wish to submit your candidacy, please prepare a few words for the meeting as to why you feel you would be a good candidate. Also, to all students, please come with ideas about future projects.
