Students, are you required to stay on campus during winter break?

Winter Break is soon approaching. The DeSales University Residence Halls will be closing on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 4PM. Students will be expected to leave campus before this time and the residence halls will not re-open until Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 2PM. All students with exams on Saturday afternoon should be packed and prepared to leave immediately following this their last exam.

Now you can use your 3D Account at the Copperhead Grille

The University Card Office and the Cooperhead Grille are excited to announce a partnership which adds a new dimension to the 3D account.  Effective immediately, students may use their University ID card in conjunction with their 3D account to make purchases at the Copperhead Grille!

Please Note:  The purchase of alcoholic beverages is prohibited through this program.  Only 3D funds can be used as tender.  The Copperhead Grille will not accept Dining Dollars (“Flex”) as payment.  If you have any questions, please contact the University Card Office.

Read & discuss with the Lunch Bunch!

The Salesian Center for Faith & Culture sponsors an information discussion group for interested faculty & staff at DSU who read a book of contemporary cultural concern and discuss their reviews.  Participants need only provide their interest and their thoughts.

The group meets three times in the Spring semester, at six-week intervals.

Each meeting takes place on a Tuesday, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM, in the Salesian Center for Faith & Culture.

November Math Problem of the Month entries due 12/2

Pick up the DeSales Mathematics Club’s November Problem of the Month on the bulletin board outside of Dooling 228, or download it here. Place your solution in the mathematics office no later than the end of the day on December 2. If your solution is correct, you will be entered in a drawing to win a gift card! All majors are welcome to enter.

NEW! On-line pay advices

University personnel now have the ability to view pay advices online. Please follow the instructions in this AD Computer DeSales University ESS registration document to enroll in the service. Note that you will need your employee number as assigned in AD Computer’s payroll system to enroll; this number is located in the upper left hand corner of your pay advice.

We encourage you to enroll as soon as possible. Beginning in January 2012, the University will no longer issue paper advices to all individuals who use direct deposit.
