Important Reminder about Trexler Library – Please Pardon our Dust

Trexler Library will be CLOSED beginning May 20 for extensive interior renovations.  Librarians will be relocated to Dooling in the former MBA suite on the first floor.  Librarians will have the following hours beginning Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 10:00pm

Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm

Saturday and Sunday – CLOSED

Materials checked out from today will be due August 27.  Our collection will NOT be accessible after May 17.  If you need any materials for your summer courses or for summer reading, please stop in and see us before the 17th.

Our online resources, databases, ebooks and online journals will still be available via our website.  We recently added over 100,000 ebooks via the EBSCO Academic ebook collection.

Librarians will be available via phone, in person (in Dooling), text and online chat for all your reference and instructional needs.

The Fall 2013 Lunch Bunch discussion group is forming!

The Salesian Center for Faith & Culture sponsors an information discussion group for interested faculty & staff at DSU who read a book of contemporary cultural concern and discuss their reviews. PSF Annual Gala, Luminosity, 6/1

The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival announces the highlights of its annual gala, Luminosity, to be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 1, in the DeSales University Center, Center Valley.

Linda Lapos and Paul Wirth are this year’s Will Shakespeare Award recipients. Lapos has attended every production in PSF’s 21-year history. She serves on the PSF board of directors, and she and Paul have been generous in their support, serving as Festival sponsors for many years. “Paul and Linda introduce people in the community to the Festival at every opening, bringing people as their guests. They believe in and invest in this Festival year after year. They help us to create beautiful artistry that we share with the community.
