Organizational Structure Assessment Announcement

Consonant with the principles of effective assessment for continuous improvement at DeSales and the expectations of Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) for institutional leadership and governance, the Institutional Outcomes Assessment Committee is completing an evaluation of the implementation of DeSales University Organizational Structure.

The evaluation seeks to focus on four main areas: Communication, Alignment, Function and Decision Making in relationship to the two parts of the Organizational Structure – the Divisional Structure and the Committee Structure separately.

In the two weeks following Spring Break (March 10 -21) the Institutional Outcomes Assessment Committee will be gathering feedback from University stakeholders via surveys that will be administered electronically to faculty, staff, and students that have served on University committees.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this important endeavor to improve governance at DeSales.

If you have any questions regarding the assessment plans for the Organizational Structure Implementation please contact the chair of Institutional Outcomes Assessment Committee – Peter Rautzhan, AVP Administration and Planning via phone at ext. 1332 or email at peter.rautzhan@desales.edu
