Women of Will at PSF: Final Performances

From Orlando Shakespeare Theatre to the Colorado Shakespeare Festival; from Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts to Off Broadway in New York City. From the Prague Shakespeare Company to PSF at DSU: Tina Packer’s Women of Will is making a theatrical history.

Conceptualized by, written by, and starring Tina Packer, Women of Will chronicles Shakespeare’s journey in his treatment of women—from the warrior woman, to the women in whom the sensual and the spiritual merge, and eventually, to the redeemer. Performed with co-star Nigel Gore, Women of Will is an evening of theatre about the world’s greatest playwright, with insights, comedy, and social commentary.

Packer—founder of Shakespeare & Company, the renowned theater group in Lenox, Mass., and considered one of America’s pre-eminent Shakespeareans—has been playing and directing Shakespeare’s women for 40 years.

This unique production along with Shakespeare’s Macbeth in rep with the comedy Lend Me a Tenor, closes this Sunday, and your DSU discount is good for all performances. Don’t leave summer without a creating a great memory with PSF.
