DSU Discount for Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival

With 7,000 tickets sold of 10,500 available, Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival’s opening production of Les Misérables is well on its way to setting an unprecedented record for the company’s 24th season. Full-time DSU employees are welcome to order tickets for Les Miz—and all of PSF’s summer shows—at the special price of $25, which is less than half price for most performances. (A+ tickets are $28.)

Les Miz opens the season on the PSF Main Stage and runs June 10 to June 28.  “Les Misérables is a sweeping, timeless classic that began its life at a Shakespeare theatre and fits our mission beautifully,” says Producing Artistic Director Patrick Mulcahy. “It is Shakespearean in scope and scale, and is perhaps the most powerful and moving musical ever created.”

Dennis Razze directs the production, which features a cast with the most Broadway credits, most recording artists, and most national tours of any cast ever on stage at PSF.

The season also features Shakespeare’s Henry V and Pericles, the American comedy by Larry Shue The Foreigner, and Mark Brown’s Around the World in 80 Days. The children’s productions are a new adaptation of Rapunzel and Shakespeare for Kids.

To order tickets, call the PSF Box Office at ext. 1276 or 610.282.WILL [9455], ext. 1.

Please enjoy the original post and comments, and thank you everyone for making DeSales such a special community.
