Neighbors to Nepal: Donate Your Extra Dining Dollars

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

It’s that time at the end of the academic year where with respect to your meal plan you realize that you have some extra funds.  You have two options: “Use it or lose it.”  How about donating a portion of what is left to “Neighbors to Nepal?”  It is our little effort here as the DeSales University Community to reach out to others, to brothers and sisters whom we do not know, but are certainly in need.

Beginning Monday, May 4 until Saturday, May 9 the Sodexo employees at the cash register will be asking you if you would like to make a donation to “Neighbors to Nepal.”  All you need to do is state the amount ($5, $25, $100).

Faculty and staff whose meal plans continue throughout the summer are encouraged to join in this effort, so that as a university community, we may strive for a worthwhile goal and cause.

Can we set for ourselves a goal of raising $10,000 within these six days?  We can do this.  They need us!

Sincerely,

The Oblates at Wills Hall
