Some new features coming to Blackboard with this upgrade include:
- SafeAssign integrated as an option in regular Assignments
- Student Preview mode allows instructors to view a course exactly as a student would see the course
- Ability for instructors to delegate specific users in a course as graders

This year’s annual Theatre Tea Talk, “Exploring Grief”, will examine the deeper motives behind Sophokles’ grief-stricken Elektra and her obsessive quest for vengeance.
The presentation will feature Bro. Daniel Wisniewski, head of the division of sciences and mathematics at DeSales, Dr. Galina Yermolenko, professor of English at DeSales, and Mr. Dick Williams, a clinical social worker and social work educator. The panel will provide insight into the grieving process through the lenses of the play, modern behavior science, and Salesian philosophy.
The event takes place on Sunday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the University Center.
Presented by the Division of Performing Arts, it is provided as an enrichment event to gear up for the production’s opening on Wednesday, February 24.
The cost for the presentaion is $11 per person and includes Greek pastries, coffee, and tea. Refreshments are available beginning at 1:30 p.m., prior to the 2:00 p.m tea talk.

DeSales University invites you to join us to the Summer Abroad Program in Segovia, Spain 2016 (May24-June22). This is a great program! It is 4 weeks long with long weekends to travel to Madrid, Cordoba, Granada, and Seville.
You will take two simultaneous Spanish classes at the Center of Hispanic Studies at Segovia and they will transfer to DeSales University. You will live with a Spanish family that provides your 3 meals of the day.
Classes go from 9am-1:00pm. After classes you will have an excursion organized by the school to a different location in Segovia or its surrounding towns. Then you will have part of the afternoons and the evenings free.
The final cost will be upon number of students enroll as shown below. The cost includes airfare, transportation, housing, meals, classes, excursions, and trips. Not included health insurance ($1 per day), books ($10-$15), and personal expenses.
