Labuda Center Iacocca Wing Entrance Closure

DPT “Baby Day” Laboratory, 10/25

On Wednesday, October 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program is looking for several typically developing children without movement disorders in the age ranges of 2 months to 18 months to work with our students in a volunteer “Baby Day” laboratory activity here in the Research and Rehabilitation lab on campus. The students will be observing the volunteers moving and playing with toys in our lab to learn more about motor development in children. We are looking for about 6 volunteer children. Parents are allowed to be present during the lab.

FREE Pediatric Physical Therapy Clinic, Volunteer Clients Wanted

Who: Children experiencing developmental delays or who have a neurological condition that impacts their gross motor development, balance, coordination, or ambulation skills. If your child has limited insurance benefits or you cannot afford co-payments for PT.

What: Physical Therapy services will be provided by students from the DeSales University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program under the supervision of the PT faculty from the program FREE of charge during the clinic periods below.

When: October 25 – December 8, 2017
Wednesdays 1-4 p.m. or Fridays 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Wednesdays: DeSales University Physical Therapy Gym or Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Allentown
