Disabilities Awareness Month – What is UDL?

What is UDL? Universal Design for Learning is the process of designing instruction that reaches a wide range of diverse students to maximize their learning potential.

There are 3 principles of UDL:

  1. Multiple means of representation- how will you present a lesson?
  2. Multiple means of engagement – how will you keep students interested in the content?
  3. Multiple means of expression- how will you assess what students have learned?
