Students: Important Thanksgiving Break Reminders

Hello Students,

I have a couple of important things to tell you about. The first is a reminder that Thanksgiving Break is almost upon us! On Tuesday, November 21 at 6 p.m., all residence halls will shut down for the break and will not reopen until 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 26. Please be advised that there are VERY LIMITED services available for traditional undergraduate day students during this time. As such, residents are required to vacate their residence halls.

The only exceptions that may be made are for those students required to stay by faculty/staff members that must be here for University sanctioned events and/or full time/day undergraduate academic responsibilities or for students who live more than 300 miles from campus. If you reside more than 300 miles away, you may request to stay on campus at the office of housing operations or by emailing housing@desales.edu. [Read more…]

Don’t be kept out of the loop: Sign up for e2Campus today!

The most important way to get emergency messages is e2Campus! All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to enroll in the e2Campus system. You will need your email address, cell phone number, and the name of your cell phone carrier. When signing up for this system, you have the option to register up to two cell phone numbers as well as two e-mail addresses.

If you have previously signed up for e2Campus, you do not need to sign-up again for the system. If you are currently signed up and are not receiving messages, please contact Dennis Rasley at ext. 1513 or by email at emergencyservices@desales.edu. [Read more…]
