Special Olympics Fundraiser at Copperhead Grille, 4/9

This upcoming Monday, April 9, Special Olympics will be hosting a fundraiser at Copperhead Grille. A hard copy of the attached flyer must be presented in order for 15% of the food purchase to be donated. In addition, flyers can be picked up throughout campus, including the DUC, McShea, Gambet, and Dooling Skylight. All proceeds go towards funding Special Olympics Fall Sectionals, which will be held at DeSales in October 2018. Thank you in advance for your contributions!

DUC Lot Closing, 4/9

DeSales is hosting a large event in the DUC on the day of Monday, April 9, 2018. The parking lot will be closed at 6 a.m. and will remain so until 10 a.m. The lot will remain congested until 4 p.m. Overflow parking will be sent to the front lot of Billera Hall as needed.

More than 200 attendees are registered.

Forensic Forum – Profiling the Complex Homicide, 4/11

Wednesday, April 11, 2018  7 p.m. – Commonwealth Room, DUC

Former FBI profiler Mark Safarik will analyze homicide scenes to show how interactions between offenders and victims reveal who, how, and why. The Netflix series Mindhunter is based on the work of the Behavioral Analysis Unit, where Safarik spent more than half of his FBI career as a profiler. He is an internationally recognized expert in the analysis and interpretation of violent criminal behavior.
