LVEHC Oral History Workshop: Application Open!

The Lehigh Valley Engaged Humanities Consortium (LVEHC) is pleased to announce that the application is now open for the May 24 day-long Oral History Workshop, to be hosted at Lafayette College.

You can complete the straightforward application form here. Due to a high volume of interest and limited space, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through May 15. Participants who complete the workshop and submit a brief post-workshop survey are eligible for a $250 stipend.

Leading the workshop will be Brooke Bryan, co-director of the Oral History in the Liberal Arts (OHLA) Initiative. The interactive workshop will cover topics such as project planning, informed consent, and data management workflows.  A panel of Lehigh Valley oral history practitioners will share experiences and lessons learned. This event is open to anyone (librarians, educators, community members, etc.) who may want to pursue an oral history project related to the Lehigh Valley. [Read more…]
