Join us for a Paint and Pour Party!

All faculty, staff, alumni, and students are invited to join the Office of Alumni Relations for a Paint & Pour party with Roey’s Paintbox on Saturday, May 12 at 1:00 p.m. in the McShea Student Union.

We’ll paint a beautiful scenic 11×14 canvas. Supplies, snacks, and 2 drinks (wine, beer, or soda) are included in your cost. Cost is $40 per person. Must be 21 years of age to attend. Feel free to bring some friends! All attendees must prepay and register using this link.

The 2nd annual LVAIC Information Literacy Symposium will be held on May 23, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. This LVAIC-sponsored event will bring together our LVAIC community — faculty, librarians, and other educators invested in information and the structures of power therein.

Planned sessions from librarians and faculty in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities will focus on student perspectives, integrating discussions about information and knowledge into teaching, open educational resources, examining the role of large technology companies in information consumption and creation, and more. Faculty: Final Grades for Spring Day Semester Due 5/14

RE:                         Final Grades- Spring 2018

Final grades for the Spring Day Semester are due via WebAdvisor no later than Monday, May 14 by 12:00 p.m. This deadline must be honored to clear students for graduation.

In order to enter your grades:

  • Logon to MyDSU
  • Select ‘Webadvisor for Faculty’
  • Under ‘Faculty Information’, select ‘Grading’
  • Spring 2018
  • Select Grading period: Final
  • All students on your grade roster must be given a grade.
  • If the student never attended your class, check the ‘Never Attended’ box and enter a grade of ‘FA.’ 
  • Enter grades. To familiarize yourself with our grading system, refer to page 21 of the 2017-2018 DeSales University Undergraduate Catalog available at www.desales.edu. An ‘Expire Date’ is only required for grades of ‘I’ (Incomplete). Enter PO or FO for any Pass/Fail grades. Enter AU for audits.
  • Only enter the ‘Last Date of Attendance’ if the student stopped attending your class during the semester. A grade of ‘FA’ (failure because of excessive absence) may be appropriate.
  • Enter the number of absences. You must enter absences for all freshmen and students on academic probation.  
  • Click submit to finalize your grades.
  • You will immediately receive a grading confirmation notice. If you do NOT receive confirmation, your grades have not been received.
  • Grades will be available for your students after our office runs a grade verification process. This process will occur daily.
