Students: Important Information about Residence Hall Closings!

Hello students,

The end of the year is here!  Campus will close on Saturday, May 12 at 4 p.m. Below is crucial information of which you should be aware before moving out.

Finals Week
24 hour quiet hours will go into effect at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4. Please be courteous to others and keep your noise level down as everyone will be busy studying. If you are disruptive during this time, you will be removed from campus immediately, even if you still have finals. Once you are done with your last final, you have 24 hours to check out of your residence hall.

Checking Out
You must be completely moved out of your residence hall and checked out with your RA at the time you sign up to check out. If you need to wait for a ride, you must do so in the McShea center.  Your RAs will post sign-out sheets in your residence hall; this will allow you to reserve a time slot to check out. Please make sure to sign up for the time you plan on leaving campus. Before your check out time with your RA, you will need to remove all of your belongings and trash and have cleaned your space. In each of your areas, there will be closing instructions and damage assessment information for you to read over. If you are a senior, any damages will need to be paid before you graduate. For those returning, damages will need to be paid before returning to campus for the following semester. [Read more…]
