Act 1 DeSales University Theatre Announces Season 49

The Division of Performing Arts at DeSales University is pleased to announce its 49th season of plays, musicals, children’s productions, choral and dance concerts, and film festivals.

Tomorrow: Trexler Library Power Shutdown

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, power will be shut down to Trexler Library for maintenance. When the work is complete, all building power will be returned to normal operation. We would suggest logging off and shutting down any computers or devices before the end of the work day on Tuesday as a precaution.

Tomorrow: Dooling Hall Rear Lot Closure

The rear lot and loading dock area of Dooling Hall will be closed to vehicles in the morning on Wednesday, August 8. A crane will need access to the area for equipment on the roof. As soon as the crane is finished, the lot will be reopened.

Power Outage on Campus for Electrical Maintenance, 8/9

Orlando Deifenderfer Electrical Contractors will be conducting electrical power outages on campus to do electrical maintenance in DeChantal Hall, Guerin, Harvey, Finnegan Villages, and Labuda Theatre on Thursday, August 9 from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Faculty and staff should turn off computers at the end of the work day on Wednesday, August 8.

Tomorrow: Telephone and Voicemail System Shutdown

In order to replace the battery backups in the telecom room, a full shutdown of the telephone and voicemail system is needed on the evening of Wednesday, August 8. The systems will be unavailable from 7 p.m. until approximately 9 p.m. This will affect all telephones and voicemail at main campus and the Bethlehem campus.

As soon as the system is turned back up, all operation should return to normal.
