Salesian Quote of the Day

With the Alps in the background and the lake in the foreground, Annecy is a well know destination. There are many festivals and traditional events throughout the year, such as the Transhumance, which is a colourful parade with the cows, sheep and goats returning from their summer pastures.

Donations Needed: Children’s Book Drive Throughout October

Students of the Infant and Youth Development Course are conducting a children’s book drive. Donate new or gently used children’s books (grades Kindergarten – fourth grade) in one of the designated boxes located around campus in the academic buildings, DUC, Dorothy Day Student Union, residence halls, and the Education Department. All books will be donated to children at Bethlehem Area School District’s Marvine Elementary School in conjunction with Cops N’ Kids.

The book drive will run through October 31.

Do you have a favorite book from when you were a child? Give another child the chance to fall in love with a book!
