How do I enter?
Pick up a Jingle Bell Trail passport and free Jingle Bell Necklace in the CAB office all week until 5pm on Friday, or pick one up at the first two locations. Get your passport stamped at each location, and drop your passport at Bulldog Blizzard to enter!

Want to Become an RA? Applications are Available Now!

The office of residence life has released the RA application for the 2019 – 2020 Academic year. Applications can be found at each residence hall front desk, in the career development office and the residence life front desk in Dorothy Day.

We are looking for student leaders or anyone interested in becoming a student leader. The goal of the RA position is to actively support the mission and goals of DeSales University, the Department of Student Affairs, and the Office of Residence Life.

The RA application is due January 25, 2019.

Tonight: Shave to Save

Participating in No-Shave November? With the month coming to a close, why not shave your beard (or head) for a worthy cause! Come out to Bulldog Blizzard tonight, Friday November 30, and stop by Shave to Save at 8:00pm hosted by Colleges Against Cancer. Raise money and allow your friends to shave your hair!

All proceeds will go toward the American Cancer Society.

Student Event Planners Needed: 3rd Annual Health and Wellness Opportunities Expo

The Career Development Center is looking for a team of student leaders who would like to assist in the planning and implementation of the 3rd annual Health and Wellness Opportunities Expo.  This is a unique and impactful leadership opportunity that allows for you to partake in many levels of skills building, from event planning, to marketing, to social medial, to employer engagement, and even assessment!

This year’s Expo is scheduled for February 6, from 1:30PM-4PM on DSU campus in the University Center.  Over 40 employers will be in attendance, promoting a variety of health related internships, volunteer opportunities, and jobs.

Next Week: Christmas Fair Trade Sale

Campus Ministry and the CRS Ambassadors are sponsoring a Fair Trade Sale for Christmas!

The items are from SERRV International – a nonprofit organization committed to fighting poverty through fair trade since 1949.  They adhere to the fair trade standards as defined by the World Fair Trade Organizations and are endorsed by the Fair Trade Association. SERRV is also a partner with CRS – Catholic Relief Services.

Items include jewelry, ornaments, woven baskets and other little gifts. Everything is under $20.
