Wendy Krisak, associate dean of students for wellness, was a guest panelist on Episode 6 of PBS39’s Reporters Roundtable discussing student anxiety and counseling.

Reporters Roundtable is a weekly presentation gathering a panel of young voices from local universities to discuss real issues of local, regional and national concern. Topics discussed include the Trump administration, social injustice, food insecurity, and sexual assault on campus. The panel will spark a dialogue and challenge each other and the viewing audience to inspire, engage and create change.

Today: Day of the Dead Celebration at the DUC

The Spanish Club, Students taking Spanish, and their Spanish professors will be displaying Altar Displays at the DUC from 9AM-3PM today, November 2, to observe El Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead), a Mexican tradition to honor the beloved deceased.

Come and see the legacy and tribute for those departed with colorful altares (displays) made by students!

DUC Lot Closed Tomorrow

DeSales is hosting a large event in the DUC and the Gambet Center on the day of Saturday, November 3, 2018.  The parking lots for both of these buildings will be closed at 6AM and will remain so until 5PM. Both lots will remain congested until 6PM. Overflow parking will be sent to the front lot of Billera Hall as needed.

Over six hundred attendees are registered.

The annual Thanksgiving Bake Sale is on! Order some delicious house made treats to bring home for your family for the holidays. Order forms can be picked up at any dining register on campus. Orders and payment will be accepted from November 1st-November 12th and pick up will be November 19th-November 20th at the DUC. (Cash, Credit, Paw Bucks, and Flex accepted)
