Bestselling novelist and award-winning journalist Stephen P. Kiernan will be speaking to the MFA graduate students and we would like to invite the whole University community.
Kiernan will talk about his World War II novel The Baker’s Secret, which is set in a tiny, Nazi-occupied village on the cliffs above Normandy Beach. The novel is a haunting and beautiful exploration of faith, endurance, hope and the human spirit. Our bookstore will sell Kiernan’s book there, or if you prefer to read it prior, bring it with you and Stephen will be happy to sign for everyone.
Please join us on Friday night, January 11, from 7PM-11PM in the Commonwealth Room of the DUC.
