Exit Counseling for Graduating Students

The Office of Financial Aid wishes to congratulate all graduating students on your achievements at DeSales University, and we extend our best wishes as you prepare for graduation.

Our records indicate that you have borrowed student loans through the Federal Direct Loan Program, Perkins, and/or HHS Nursing Loan programs while enrolled at DeSales University. Repayment of Federal Direct loans will begin SIX MONTHS after graduation and repayment of Perkins and HHS loans will begin NINE MONTHS after graduation.

All students who borrowed loans from these programs are required to attend an Exit Interview meeting during one of the sessions listed below. Each session will take approximately 45 minutes. Please be aware that there is a 25 seat maximum for each session. Students will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.

The sessions will be held at the following times:

  • Thursday May 2
    Dooling 14D (computer room)
    9AM, 11AM, 1PM
  • Friday, May 3
    Dooling 14D (computer room)
    11AM, 1PM, 3PM

Please bring your driver’s license and the addresses / phone numbers for your next of kin and for two other references.  The log in page will require your Federal Student Aid ID Number: Don’t remember your FSA ID? Request a duplicate one.

If you are unable to attend these sessions, our office will send correspondence to your home address after graduation.  It will include directions on how to complete exit counseling on your own.
