Employees: Congratulating Close Relatives at the Commencement Ceremony

As we prepare for this year’s Commencement ceremony, we recognize that many DeSales employees have close relatives who are graduating students.  Full-time and part-time DeSales employees having a close relative (e.g., spouse, parent or child, grandparent or grandchild, brother or sister, uncle or aunt, nephew or niece, cousin) who is walking in Commencement may come to the stage by way of the left ramp (from the perspective of the audience) and congratulate the close relative immediately after Father Greenfield congratulates him/her.

If you have a close relative who is graduating on Saturday, May 18, and you wish to congratulate him/her on the stage, please inform Brother Dan Wisniewski (Daniel.Wisniewski@desales.edu) and Jerry Joyce (Gerald.Joyce@desales.edu) by Friday, May 17 at 12PM.

Please include the following information:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your position at DeSales
  • Your close relative’s name
  • Your relationship to that person
  • The degree of the graduate, including major
