Have an Event Coming Up? Publicize It!

Attention Students, Faculty, and Staff! If you’re a part of an organization on campus, or just need to get the word out about a DeSales related event, here are a few tips for getting it publicized.

Submit your event to the DSU Daily

All students, faculty, and staff members are able to submit their events to the Daily to be published both on the blog, and sent out in an e-newsletter to our mailing list.

Simply send an email to dsudaily@desales.edu, and be sure to include as much relevant information as possible.

Get it scheduled on the public website calendar

Faculty & Staff: if you have an event you’d like promoted on the desales.edu website calendar, please submit a request to the HelpDesk <helpdesk@desales.edu>. Be sure to include all relevant information when submitting calendar events.

Students: All student events should be submitted through the Engage student activities website. Approved events will be processed then published on both the Engage and desales.edu websites.

Notify the Marketing Department

The Marketing team can help write articles for events, design print materials, and create multi-media content. We can also use our multiple social media accounts and platforms to maximize your reach.
