Central to our DeSales University is gratitude. We thank God, the giver of all gifts, and we thank each other for how well we advance our mission through the grace-inspired use of these gifts. Thanksgiving is also an important part of our nation’s religious tradition and a significant holiday for us. We hope you spend time in the company of loved ones!
To launch the Thanksgiving holiday, you are invited to the DeSales University Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Monday, November 25 from 4:30PM – 7PM in the University Center. The Student Life office will provide live music during dinner. Additionally, we hope you will join us before dinner in the Wills Hall Chapel at 4PM for Mass, where we say, “Thanks be to God,” for the blessings of our lives through the celebration of the Eucharist.
If you are not on the meal plan but wish to attend, please register online by Tuesday, November 19. Please be prepared to show your DeSales identification at the door. Because of the tremendous turnout for this event, participation is limited to full-time students and employees. We hope that you will be a part of this fun evening.
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving Holiday!
