Have a Wonderful Summer!

During much of the summer, the DeSales Daily will become the DeSales “occasional.” 😉

Emails will go out only when there are announcements; posts that are not time-sensitive might be held until a few posts have been submitted.

Have a wonderful summer, Bulldogs! Congratulations and best wishes to all our graduates — hope to see you again at Homecoming!

Questions about the DeSales Daily summer schedule?

That's all folks!

Sneak Peek! New Website Design

We’re hard at work completely rebuilding a new! The new site will launch this August. We hope you enjoy this special preview!

Please note these images are just mock-ups – they don’t function yet.

In our new web design, DeSales’ traditional navy and scarlet are accentuated with pops of green and bright yellow and orange — evoking our lush campus, friendly atmosphere, and stained glass windows.

A combination of sans serif and serif fonts gives the site a fresh, modern feel punctuated by a sense of tradition and gravitas. The same body copy is also used on our athletics website, and so provides a sense of consistency across the DeSales brand.

Get a sneak peek of the new design here:

As we move further along in this process there are sure to be more updates, tweaks, and adjustments along the way.

Do you have feedback on the design? Please share it here

(There’s a link to the feedback form on the design page, too.)

Sneak Peek: New Website Wireframe

The website redesign is underway! Our target for launch is August 2018. We’d love your feedback on an important and exciting stage of the project: the wireframe!

The wireframe contains a sampling of the different types of pages for our new website. It’s a bare-bones blueprint that shows where things will go and how the navigation will work — but it’s completely devoid of design elements. You won’t see any fonts, colors or graphics just yet; but, you will see examples of how the new navigation menus will work and the different kinds of building blocks we’ll use to highlight our content.  (Note: The wireframe is NOT mobile friendly, but the new site will be.)

Please go to to find additional project information and the link to the wireframe & feedback form. To remain on target for launch, please submit your feedback by the end of business Friday, 3/23.

Thank you for being a part of this very exciting process!

Next steps: design – fonts, colors, images, videos, and FUN! We will be gathering your feedback on that later this Spring.
