DeSales University is committed to assisting all members of the DeSales community in providing for their own safety and security. The DeSales University 2017 Annual Security Report and the 2017 Annual Fire Report is now available on the DeSales website: http://www.desales.edu/securityreport
The Annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three calendar years – 2016, 2015, 2014 – on crimes reported to campus security authorities that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by DeSales University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus. The statistics are prepared in accordance with the standards and guidelines used by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Uniform Crime Reporting Handbook and the Clery Act in accordance with state laws (The College and University Security Information Act/Act 73 of 1988) and federal law. The report also includes information on campus security and personal safety, including crime prevention, crime reporting policies, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and other important matters. The Annual Security Report is published in compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy & Campus Crime Statistics Act and PA Act 73 of 1988. [Read more…]
