Please follow the instructions in this  AD Computer DeSales University ESS registration document to enroll in the service.  Note that you will need your employee number as assigned in AD Computer’s payroll system to enroll; this number is located in the upper left hand corner of your pay advice.

We encourage you to enroll as soon as possible.  Beginning in January 2012, the University will no longer issue paper advices to all individuals who use direct deposit.

2011 DeSales University United Way Campaign

Our United Way Campaign is underway; Father O’Connor wrote, “DeSales University continues to receive many blessings. Almighty God and the Salesian saints shower us with kindness and graces as we seek to serve the many people that are sent to us by the divine. Unfortunately, many of our sisters and brothers are not as fortunate as we are. These are very difficult economic and political times for many in our nation and the world. Each year we are invited to offer assistance to those in need. Our common effort is called the United Way”.

Each full-time employee is asked to consider helping to make our 2011 Campaign a success, via the link provided.

If you would prefer a paper form for your contribution please call Deacon George Kelly @ x1259.

We want to surpass last year’s 50% participation rate, we need your help to do that, make a donation or pledge today!

Thank you in advance for your willingness to help in this worthwhile local community cause. If you have any questions about the United Way Campaign please call

Deacon George Kelly @ ext. 1259.

You must complete the new Payroll Tax Form by 12/9

On January 1, 2012, a new Commonwealth of Pennsylvania regulation known as Act 32 becomes effective; it requires every Pennsylvania employer to ensure that local Earned Income Taxes are properly withheld.  In an effort to make this process as efficient as possible, the Commonwealth has designed a numerical system in which each political subdivision is assigned a unique 6-digit PSD number.

Under Act 32, every employee must complete a Residency Certification Form.  A copy of this Form can be found on the front page of AD Computer’s website; you will only need to complete the “Employee Information – Residence Location” section. You can also ignore the “Resident EIT Rate” box in that section.

AD Computer’s website also contains a link to the Commonwealth’s PSD Code Lookup service that you can use to determine the PSD code to include on your Residency Certification Form.  (You may need to temporarily allow pop-ups to properly use this Lookup.)  A P.O. Box cannot be used for either the Form or the Lookup; you must use a street address.

Please submit your completed Residency Certification Forms to Carol Ritter in Payroll as soon as possible, but no later than December 9, 2011.

Animal shelter “supply tree” in the DUC 11/3-11/11

Pod 7 has a “Supply Tree” set up in the DUC from 11/3 – 11/11.  On the tree you will find magnified bulldog paw prints that have a supply listed on the back that is desperately needed for a local animal shelter. Directions of who to give the supplies to will be available at the table. The next time you find yourself going to Giant or Target pick up some supplies for an animal in need. We plan to deliver the supplies on Saturday 11/12.  Thank you for your help!

Any questions please email Austin Benner at ab1926@desales.edu
