Tech Fair 2011: online Jan 12, on-campus Jan 14

Due to expected snow, the face-to-face portion of the Tech Fair is postponed until Friday, January 14.

The online track and keynote speaker, Dr. Mohamed Ally, are still on schedule for Wednesday.

DeSales Daily on hiatus until Jan. 3

Thank you for helping to test the DeSales Daily these past few weeks. The Daily will be on hiatus from 12/24 to 1/3. At that time, testing will expand to include Graduate and ACCESS students, with full launch at the start of the spring undergraduate semester.

Semi Formal Tickets on sale 1/17 – 1/21

The Sophomore Class would like to invite you to Semi-Formal 2011 “Starry Night” on Friday, January 28, 2011 at Lehigh’s Iacocca Hall.

Tickets are $20 per person and include bus transportation to and from Iacocca Hall, a delicious buffet dinner, and night of fun, music and dancing. Last call for senior portraits 1/31 – 2/3

Class of 2011: Herff-Jones photographers will return to campus on January 31 through February 3 to complete senior portraits for the yearbook. This is your last opportunity to have your photo taken. To schedule your portrait appointment, please log on to www.ouryear.com. The DeSales University code is 355. The cost for the sitting is $5.00.

Required attire for men is a dress shirt with a tie and jacket. Herff-Jones will provide these items for the men if they do not have the appropriate attire. A nice blouse or sweater is suggested for the female portraits. Herff-Jones will also provide a cap and gown for pictures.

Senior portraits will be taken in the Kender Conference Room in McShea.

Scheduled power outage today

Please be advised that there will be a scheduled power outage in the Conmy and Tocik dorms today from  8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.  If we can restore power sooner, we will.  Heating will not be available during the power outage. Water services will not be cut-off, however, hot water will not be available.
