Join us for Ewabo! Steel Drummers: Caribbean Trio will present music from the Caribbean. The trio comes from Trinidad and Tobago, the Virgin Islands, and St. Martin. With an emphasis on the steel drum, Ewabo’s skill and dedication to this Caribbean art form has propelled them to success in the mainstream of international contemporary music.

Character U Keynote, Harry Mora, 2/22

“They Killed Sister Dorothy” – Dinner and Discussion 2/23

On Wednesday, February 23, the Center for Service and Social Justice will be hosting our first Dinner and Discussion of the semester.  We will be viewing “They Killed Sister Dorothy,” a story that takes place at the mouth of the Amazon River, where Sister Dorothy Stang is shot at point blank range – and the reason is shocking.  We will meet for dinner in the McShea Commons at 5 p.m.

Student job opportunity, interviews 2/24

We are looking for upperclassmen with 60 or more credits to join our team. We offer tutoring for students in grades K-8 in the areas of Math & Reading, Saturdays from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Earn $40 p/h for instructing a class of 8 students ($5 p/h per student).

You may sign-up to attend the program overview/interview at the DeSales Career Services Center.

The program overview/interview will be held on Thursday, February 24 2011 at 3:00 p.m., (please bring your resume) at Dooling Hall.
