Class Roster Information

Please note that the PDF report option for printing your class roster from webadvisor has a maximum print capacity of 60 students.   The IT Department is working to address this matter as soon as possible.

In the meantime if you would like a hard copy of your class roster, please contact Judy Schwartz, Department Secretary in the Registrar’s Office:

R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense) Basic Physical Defense class this September

Classes will be held in the evenings on September 11, 12 and the 18,19  for 3 hours each.  The Basic Physical Defense course is the cornerstone of R.A.D. Systems, this course has its foundations in education and awareness. The course includes lecture, discussion and self-defense techniques suitable for women of all ages and abilities. The class is free for all female University students. If interested, please contact University Police at extension 1740 to register for the class and to receive more information. Registration is required for ALL participants.


Final Class Rosters

Your class roster is now final and is available real-time via WebAdvisor:  Only those students on the official class roster will receive credit for your course and may attend class.

 Please verify your roster and notify me of any discrepancies by Wednesday, September 5. All students remaining on your official class list must be issued mid-term and final grades. Contact me concerning students who cease attending class anytime during the semester.

You must enter the ‘Last Date of Attendance’ for all students when entering failing grades (F, FO, FA).

You will need your username and password to access WebAdvisor and to enter your grades.  If you do not remember your login information, please contact the helpdesk at extension 4357 (HELP) or at

The Academic Oversight Committee is pleased to distribute the minutes from the meeting of March 28, 2012.


March 28, 2012 | 3:00-3:30 p.m. | Dooling Hall | Meeting Minutes

PRESENT: Mr. John Bell, Dr. Rodger Berg, Dr. Robert Blumenstein, Ms. Deborah Booros, Dr. Christopher Cocozza, Father Peter Leonard, Dr. Karen Walton.

Dr. Chris Cocozza called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. 

1.            Approval of the Minutes from February 22, 2012 meeting. Minutes approved.

2.            Instructional Equivalencies (Ms. Booros).  Deb explained the reasons for proposing the DSU model for instructional equivalencies. The committee discussed the components of the proposal and agreed that implementation should be required for “quality control” in the hybrid and online ACCESS and Graduate programs. The Division Heads will forward the document to their faculty who should email any comments to The final version will be presented at a faculty meeting to inform faculty how the plan will be implemented and evaluated.

3.            Academic Excellence Presentation. All members of the Academic Oversight Committee attend the student presentations and vote.

4.            Faculty Workshop. Please email ideas to Chris Cocozza.

The meeting adjourned at 3:30 p.m. The next meeting is scheduled for April 25 in the Hurd Science Center from 3:00 – 5:00.


It’s a boy!

Dr. Joshua Schulz (Philosophy and Theology) and his wife Christine welcomed their fourth child into the world on Friday, August 24.  Their new boy, Gabriel Joseph, weighed 8 lbs. 1oz.  Both Christine and Gabriel are at home and doing well.  Gabriel’s excited siblings are William Michael, 9, Jillian Marie, 7, and Sophia Anne, 4.


Students: Fall Internship Paperwork due 8/30

All students who are planning to do an internship for academic credit this Fall Semester, MUST submit their application/offer letter/resume by this Thursday, August 30.  If there is an extenuating circumstance as to why you are unable to meet this deadline, please notify career services immediately.  Also, if you have not attended an orientation for the internship program, please notify career services immediately.  You will need to have an orientation before you can submit your paperwork and start your internship experience.
