National Library Week, 4/14-4/20

National Library Week begins April 14 and runs through April 20.  Trexler Library will celebrate the week with the following activities:

Food for Fines Program

In celebration of National Library Week, Trexler Library will be helping local food banks by accepting non-perishable food in lieu of fines for overdue materials.  If you have fines on your record, we will forgive $2.00 for every non-perishable food item you donate.  Do something good for the community and reduce your fines at the same time.

Poetry Reading – Brown Bag Lunch Program

April is also National Poetry Month.  Join us April 17 from noon to 1:00pm in the Reference area of Trexler Library for a poetry reading featuring Dr. Stephen Myers and Ms. Ann Michael along with their students Nic Bianco, Kimberly Martel and Josh Martin.  Enjoy listening as they read for us some of their personal works.  Bring your lunch and enjoy some treats for dessert.
