Students planning to complete an internship for academic credit must attend one of the following mandatory orientations: (registration IS NOT required and all orientations take place in the Career Services Resource Library and last approx. 10 minutes)

  • Wed. April 3, 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.
  • Thurs. April 11, 9:30 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
  • Mon. April 15, 10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
  • Mon. April 22, 11:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.
  • Wed. April 24, 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.
  • Thurs. April 25, 11:00 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.
  • Mon. April. 29, 9:00 a.m. or 3:00 p.m.

Please include your shirt size and we can accommodate male or female shirt styles.  Please note if you received a shirt in 2012-2013 you do not need one for 2013-2014.

Rice Bowl Drop-Off

Anyone who was participating in the Rice Bowl program with Catholic Relief Services is asked to return your “bowl” to Maggie Riggins’ office in McShea by Thursday, April 4.


At the 8 p.m. Mass on Sunday, April 7, seven DeSales students will be confirmed and received into full communion with the Catholic Church. Please pray for Alyssa Petillo, Cara Guth, Marissa Arahill, Joe Rooney, Bernard Camacho, Sean Boyd and Louisa Wickus.

FY 2014 campus budget presentation

The approved budget for fiscal 2014 will be presented to the campus community on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 1:30 PM in the Trexler Room in the DUC.  The presentation will last approximately one hour.  Everyone is invited to attend.


Blessed John Paul II Memorial Arts and Culture, 4/2

Blessed John Paul II Memorial Arts & Culture event This year the Salesian Center is hosting Catholic singer and songwriter Ryan Tremblay for this event on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the University Center. Accompanying Tremblay will be his producer and Grammy-nominated co-writer, Todd Urbonas. This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
