Pennsylvania Commission for Women “Listening Tour”

The morning of November 9, 2012 some of the Lehigh Valley’s smartest, passionate, and most committed women gathered for the Pennsylvania Commission for Women “Listening Tour” at Cedar Crest College. The morning was wonderful, interesting, inspiring and filled with high energy, where great ideas were created. Everyone is anxious to start planning and implementing these ideas. Good luck and thank you ladies!

CIA official Gene Poteat: DeSales National Security Track/Club Speaker Event, 11/15

On Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 7:00pm in the Commonwealth Room in the DeSales University Center the DeSales National Security Track/Club will host guest speaker former CIA official Gene Poteat.  Mr. Poteat will speak on the topic of “The Secret History of U.S. Intelligence.”  He is the president of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers (AFIO) and served as a scientific intelligence officer in the CIA.  He will also speak about career opportunities in intelligence.

ACCESS Recognizes Adult Learner Achievements

This week ACCESS celebrated “Non-Traditional Student Week” to recognize the accomplishments and achievements of DeSales University’s adult learners. Some activities included free coasters and free cake and coffee outside the ACCESS offices on the main campus (pictured below) and the Easton and Lansdale Area campuses.
