Career Ambassador Program: Applications for 2013-2014 Available

Career Ambassador Program: Applications for 2013-2014 Available

The Career Ambassador Program has witnessed great success over this past academic year.  We have been able to offer more advising times for students and the Career Ambassadors have generated new and creative ways to market Career Services.  As we look toward the next academic year, we desire to build another strong team of Career Ambassadors.  What is a Career Ambassador?  A Career Ambassador is a strong collaborative leader, who is dedicated to their own career development as well as helping their peers with their journey.  Specifically, Career Ambassadors assist with the following:

  • Resume and Cover Letter Writing
  • Job and Internship Searching Techniques
  • Facilitating Internship Orientations
  • Presenting in the Classroom, Residence Halls and to Clubs
  • Networking with Employers
  • Promoting and attending career events such as the Open House, Career Fair, and Etiquette Dinner

This is a great experience to add to your own resume and will help enhance your own career growth.  Applications and additional information are available through the Career Services website: http://web1.desales.edu/default.aspx?pageid=522

All applications are due by March 28!
