First Sweet 16 Squad Meeting, 9/12

Do you want to get involved in helping promote athletic teams on campus? Do you want to help run halftime sporting events? Then you should definitely come to the first Sweet 16 Squad meeting on Wednesday, September 12 at 3pm in the MAC in McShea. It will be a lot of fun and a great way to gain valuable experience!

First Faculty Colloquium, tomorrow, 9/12

The first Faculty Colloquium of the academic year will be held on Wednesday, September 12, at 3:00 p.m. in Dooling Room 128.  The Faculty Colloquium series is intended as an opportunity for faculty to gather and discuss ideas pertinent to the academy and/or to present and celebrate faculty achievements.

Flu Shots available, 10/10

Flu Shots will be available on campus Wednesday October 10 from 2pm to 4:30 pm in the Circle in front of Dooling (look for the St Luke’s mobile unit). Cost to be announced. Cash or check: Payable to St. Luke’s (Medicare accepted).


Tuition Exchange/Waiver Meetings, 9/26 & 9/27

Tuition Exchange/Waiver Meetings are scheduled for Wednesday, September 26 at 9:00 a.m. in the University Center Hurd Room and Thursday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m. in the University Center Heritage Room. 

One of the benefit offerings for full time employees of DeSales University is the opportunity to apply for and to participate in one of two Tuition Exchange scholarship programs available to eligible children of our staff and faculty.  Meetings to discuss these and the Tuition Waiver process will be held Wednesday, September 26th at 9:00 a.m. in the University Center Hurd Room and Thursday, September 27th at 1:00 p.m. in the University Center Heritage Room.

This meeting is primarily for our employees who are the parents of students entering their junior or senior year of high school this fall.   If you do not have a student in one of these categories but are interested in information for future reference you are also welcome to attend.  Come with your questions – members of our Admissions and Human Resources staff will be available to answer.

Blood Drive, 9/12

Blood Drive September 12, 8am-6:00pm

Miller-Keystone will be hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 8am-6pm outside of the University Center.  Appointments are available in 15 minute time slots (8:00, 8:15, 8:30, etc), please email with your  name and time you would like to donate.  The first 95 people will receive a free t-shirt!
