Congratulations, Daniel Drain!

On Wednesday, March 27, the Academic Oversight Committee, consisting of the four Division Heads; the Deans of Undergraduate Education, Graduate Education, and Lifelong Learning; and the Provost had the great pleasure of listening to the speeches that were presented by the following students who won the Academic Excellence Address Competitions in their divisions:

  • Alyssa Brandt
  • Daniel Drain
  • Thomson Jaffe
  • Kara Moran
  • Jonathan Tabuzo
  • Teresa Winter

The Division Heads had a difficult time choosing among these excellent presenters.  Our students are outstanding in their ability to write and deliver speeches.

The student chosen to give the Academic Excellence Address at the Academic Excellence Celebration on Sunday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. in the Connelly Chapel is Daniel Drain.  He will be given a prize of $500.

The Academic Oversight Committee would like to thank all the students who participated in the Academic Excellence Address competition and to encourage all traditional day students to enter the competition next year.
