Medical Intelligence and Emergency Evacuations

On Tuesday, February 15th at 4pm in the Air Products Room in Trexler Library Lt. Col. Kevin Hinkle, USAF, Officer-in-Charge; Public Health/Medical Intelligence 193rd Special Operations Wing/SGPM (AFSOC) spoke to the students of the National Security Club about his experiences as lead medical officer in suport of Hurricane DEAN, GUSTAV, and IKE, working with civilian and military authorities regarding patient evacuation and sheltering in place for healthcare facilities.  He also discussed his responsibility of providing medical intelligence for commanders and maintain force health protection measures for soldiers and airmen.
